You do not need the HNA handicap card.

All you actually need is the HNA Handicaps app and your HNA Player ID. When you go to the golf club where you are playing you can open your round by giving the person at the counter your SA ID or HNA Player ID. You can also open your round at the terminal with your SA ID or HNA Player ID. At the end of the round you enter your score on the app.

  The current handicapping system is based on your last 20 scores. The calculation takes the best 10 of your last 20 scores.  The Handicap index is then calculated (HI).  This is used to work out your course index (CI) either by looking it up on the SAGA app or a handicap sheet displayed at the club you are playing at

It is critical that you know how to correct your scores for handicap purposes.  This should be done as follows:
Handicap 18 and below, maximum 2 over on any hole.

Handicap 19 and above, maximum 3 over on any hole if you receive 2 strokes and maximum of 2 over where you receive one stroke. 
Eg.  Mr A Goodenough 21 Handicap
On a maximum of any 3 holes Mr Goodenough must correct his scores to 3 over par if his actual score is more than 3 over par for these holes.  For all the other holes ie. after has had 3 holes of 3 over or more he must correct his scores to 2 over par if his actual score is more than 2 over par for these holes
